The EPH (English, Political Science and History) program at Rama Mahavidyalaya integrates multi-disciplinary approaches to the Humanities and Social Sciences. It reinforces the symbiotic relationship between social and political histories, philosophies of the State and nationhood, varied discourses of culture, and the relevance of narrativising these elements through the process of reading and writing literature. This combination of subjects, offered over 3 years and 6 semesters of the B.A. Courses, aims to equip students with the ability to address critical questions concerning contemporary social and political thought, comprehend and challenge established notions of the historical with historical interventions into questions of individual and collective identities, and deploy literary readings and theoretical concepts in a wide array of careers ranging from creative and research writing to administration, political reform, public policy intervention and activism.
The BA Economics Programme with non-core subjects Psychology and Political Science is designed to produce graduates trained in the application of knowledge in economics to real-life economic, financial, ethical and analytical problems encountered in the economy. It is structured to provide the students with the skills and professional acumen to become key players in the economy irrespective of their future job places and task diversification they would take up. The course may enable the students to effectively apply their knowledge and skills to situations of economic, institutional and policy-making both in governance and industry.

To apply for a Bachelor of Arts (BA) course, the candidates have to pass their 10+2 examinations in any stream. In some colleges, the admissions are based on the performance of the students in their qualifying examinations, Whereas in others the candidates have to appear for a Written Examination.
